Highlights (26 January 2010)

Ever wonder whether Blu-ray is worth the change? I have about fifty Blu-ray vs DVD comparisons to help you decide for yourself!

NEW: Is one version of a Blu-ray better than another? Does a higher video bitrate result in better picture quality? How important is the quality of the film print from which the Blu-ray was taken? How about you help me answer these questions by taking these tests. Yes, sometimes there will even be prizes!

Visit the Home Entertainment Blog all new and upgraded (26 January 2010).

And the Dictionary of Home Entertainment.

My short story previously published in Quadrant. A piece on the joys of new parenthood, previously published in The Canberra Times.

Version 3.4.0

Most of this Web site hovers around HTML version 2.5. It uses no frames, no style sheets, no XML. Just plain old-fashioned HTML. It does use tables.

No Web page layout programs were used on this Web site. All pages were hand coded using TextPad.

Except, that is, for the Blog. As of January 2010 I've switched over the WordPress.
